Brent R. Wendel, DPM, FACFAS
Brent R. Wendel, DPM earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Eastern Washington State University and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California. Dr. Wendel then completed a two-year podiatric medical residency program in foot and ankle surgery. He joined his father, Robert E. Wendel, DPM, in practice in 1998.
Dr. Wendel is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.
He has active staff privileges at Swedish Medical Center /Cherry Hill, Swedish Medical Center / First Hill, and Seattle Surgical Center.

Specialty Interests & Background
Dr. Brent Wendel is committed to treating patients conservatively prior to considering surgery and to providing personal attention to each patient in the decision making process. He is dedicated to helping you return to complete foot and ankle health.
His interests outside his practice include running, skiing, mountain climbing, cycling, soccer, hiking and fly fishing. He has run several marathons and is a podiatrist with the Team in Training. These activities have led him to develop a special interest in Podiatric Sports Medicine---the prevention and treatment of sports-related foot and ankle injuries.
Robert E. Wendel, DPM, FACFAS (Retired Active)
Dr. Robert Wendel actively practiced podiatric medicine in Seattle for 25 years. In 1998 his son, Brent, joined him in the office upon completion of a surgical residency program. They worked together until Dr. Robert Wendel’s retirement. He maintains a retired- active license, so occasionally you may find Dr. Robert Wendel in the office assisting in a locum tenens position.
